ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN

We specialize in Offices & Hotels Turnkey FITOUT & FURNITURE SUPPLY.

We are looking for a full-time Architectural Draftsman to join our growing team, to be responsible for interior architecturally, designing, providing an accurate and complete interior construction and shop drawing layouts.

This job involves interior Fitout (ARCH & MEP) & furniture projects for offices and hotels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in design meetings with client, providing technical expertise and contributing innovative ideas to produce initial sketches for client approval.
• Researching and sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet project requirements, budget constraints, and client preferences.
• Mood Board: Selecting and specifying a realistic interior finishes, fixtures, furniture, and décor elements to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional goals of a space.
• Create 2D and (Realistic) 3D models, incorporating accurate dimensions, materials, and finishes, to ensure compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and customer specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for selected materials.
• Shop Drawings: Generate detailed technical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation for fabrication and installation purposes.
• Adhere to established timelines and project schedules, managing multiple design Coordinate with our execution team and site contractors to ensure accurate implementation of architectural designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any design issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CAD & REVIT engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree Drafting, or -Architectural Design
• Minimum 5 YEARS of experience as an Architectural Draftsman.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Thorough understanding of commercial construction materials, Furniture, and assemblies.
• Spatial visualization ability.
• Experience in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
• MEP drafting is an added value.
• Languages: Excellent communication in English (speak, read, and write). Arabic language is an added value.
